Introduction

Welcome to SnapMog, an online service available at snapmog.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access our site or interact with any SnapMog experiences.

Information Collection and Use

We collect information to keep your SnapMog experience fast, secure, and reliable:

  1. Account Information

    • What We Collect: Name, email address, authentication credentials or login-provider identifiers, profile preferences, and account settings you submit when you sign up.
    • Purpose: To authenticate you, deliver account features, and provide customer support.
  2. Usage Details

    • What We Collect: Logs of feature interactions, prompts or requests, checkout events, upload metadata, safety actions, and timestamps that help us understand product usage.
    • Purpose: To improve product quality, personalize recommendations, and ensure platform reliability.
  3. Device Information

    • What We Collect: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate location derived from IP address.
    • Purpose: To optimize the interface for your device, troubleshoot bugs, and prevent abuse.
  4. Cookies

    • What We Collect: Session tokens, analytics identifiers, and preference cookies.
    • Purpose: To keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure performance.
  5. Payment and Billing Information

    • What We Collect: Billing name, email address, order identifiers, subscription status, payment provider session identifiers, and limited payment details processed by our payment partner.
    • Purpose: To process purchases, subscriptions, or other paid access to SnapMog.
  6. Generated or Uploaded Content

    • What We Collect: Inputs, uploads, outputs, or related content required to provide the service.
    • Purpose: To deliver requested results, provide account history, and improve safety or moderation systems.
  7. Camera, Snapshot, AI, Room, Match, and Ranking Data

    • Camera Feed: SnapMog's Solo Score, Blind Snapshot Duel, camera check, and live 1v1 WebRTC room use your camera for the session. We do not record continuous raw camera video for the current MVP experience.
    • Snapshots and AI Analysis: Solo Score and Blind Snapshot Duel may capture a still frame from your camera for scoring, result display, matching, moderation, abuse prevention, and safety review. Snapshot scoring may involve sending the captured frame, uploaded image, or derived image data to SnapMog servers and third-party AI infrastructure. The homepage flow does not show your snapshot to an opponent by default.
    • Room and Signaling Data: To connect live 1v1 rooms, we may process and store room identifiers, participant labels, WebRTC signaling events, connection state, timestamps, and safety events. This signaling data is not a video recording.
    • Match Results: If you play as a guest, match results may be stored in your browser localStorage. If you sign in or claim guest results, we store match result fields such as room identifier, opponent label, ELO, tier, win/loss/draw outcome, appeal score, aura, timestamps, and scan metrics.
    • Public Leaderboard/Profile Data: Claimed profiles may display public fields including display name, ELO, wins, losses, tier, appeal score, aura, and recent match summaries. We do not publish your email address.
    • Reports and Blocks: Reports may store the reported opponent label, reason, local match identifier, timestamp, and your account identifier if you are signed in. Blocks are currently stored on your device.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, transport encryption where available, and cloud-provider security features. Some feature data may be stored in databases, object storage, cache or queue services, browser localStorage, analytics tools, payment systems, and provider logs. While we strive for strong protections, no transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please use strong passwords and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide SnapMog, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or support legitimate business operations. Live room and signaling records are designed for short-lived operation, while account, billing, safety, and claimed leaderboard records may be kept longer unless deletion is required or appropriate.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Trusted partners who support hosting, storage, databases, cache or queue infrastructure, analytics, authentication, email delivery, payments, AI analysis, customer support, or safety reviews, each bound by confidentiality or data-processing obligations where applicable.
  • AI and Infrastructure Providers: When you request camera scoring, image analysis, uploads, live matching, or related features, relevant images, prompts, metadata, room state, or technical logs may be processed by providers such as AI model services, cloud hosting, object storage, and live-state infrastructure.
  • Payment Providers: Payment partners process checkout, billing, subscription, tax, fraud-prevention, and payment-status data. SnapMog does not store full card numbers.
  • Legal Compliance: Authorities or third parties when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, where personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction with notice where required.

Your Choices and Requests

You can choose not to create an account, not to grant camera access, not to submit a snapshot, or not to claim guest results to a public profile. You can clear local browser data to remove guest-only localStorage records from your device. If you have an account, you may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other handling of your personal data, subject to identity verification, legal limits, security needs, and records we must retain for billing, fraud prevention, safety, or compliance.

Children and Age-Limited Features

SnapMog is not directed to children under 13. Live Duel is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old. If you believe a child has provided personal information to SnapMog, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

International Processing

SnapMog and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, regulations, or business operations. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of SnapMog after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
